a deeper meaning behind this, which intensifies her rebellious character.
Paulie sees herself in a battle with the rest of the world for the
one and only love in her life. She's wise enough to huddle in the
role of any society event and fight there in the role that she's given,
but she doesn't realize that she can't succeed this way. |
