| After
the chorus ended, Mouse leaves the
chapel via the school hallway and goes out to the schoolyard. She notices
Joe the gardener planting trees.
Mouse remembers the time she was gardening together with her mother and how much fun she had then. She misses planting flowers and being outside in the garden and nature a lot and so she makes the decision to ask Joseph Menzies, the gardener, if she could help him doing the garden sometimes. Mouse: "Ummm… Excuse me… I was just wondering… would you… could you..." Joe:turns
to face Mouse: "You like to garden?" |
